ライブではVJによる視覚でのパフォーマンスにも定評がある。共同生活を営みながら、京都を拠点に活動中。
2019年7月 1st Full Album "Rosy"をリリース。
2019年9月 初の海外公演となる、韓国ソウルのフェス"ZANDARI FESTA"に出演。
2020年1月 ナイトイベント"dip."を京都CLUB METROで主催。
2020年3月 配信シングル"Pump"をリリース。
2020年6月 ポストコロナに向けてフリーイベントの開催を目的とするドネーションEP "neighbors projects"を始動。
2021年1月より4ヶ月連続で新曲"DRAW IN A HEAD"、"SHIVER"、"SPIRITED AWAY"、"SOUTH"をリリース。各種音楽ストリーミングサービスのプレイリストにおいてスマッシュヒットを記録。
2021年6月 女性シンガー こゑだに"Straw"を楽曲提供。
2021年6月 配信シングル"HALF AWAKE"をリリース。
2022年1月19日に"Something is likely to happen"をデジタルリリース(先行配信シングル "BuBBle", "Fragile")
2022年2月 大阪心斎橋ANIMAにてワンマンライブ、4月に東京渋谷WWWにてリリースパーティー(w/ gato)を開催。
2022年5月 京都CLUB METROにてdip.2を開催 (w / gato, Jugem)
2022年7月 配信シングル"Whales"公開。京都CLUB METROにてdip.3を開催 (w / どんぐりず, Jugem)
2022年9月 下北沢BASEMENT BAR, THREEにてフリーイベント"neighbors"を開催

the McFaddin is an alternative pop & rock band from Kyoto, Japan.
In July 2019, they released the 1st full album "Rosy".
In September, they performed at Seoul, KOR's ZANDARI Festival. It was the first overseas performance for them.
Since January, they organized a regular night party “dip.” at Kyoto Club Metro.
In June 2020, They started the donation project “neighbors” for the purpose of holding a free live event for post-COVID19.
In January 2021, Ryoma Matsumoto became the official member as VJ & Art Director.
The same year, they dropped seven singles; "DRAW IN A HEAD", "SHIVER", "SPIRITED AWAY", "SOUTH", "HALFAWAKE", "BuBBle", "Fragile", and these recorded smash hits with subscription services.
They also provide song "Straw" for female singer songwriter, Koeda.
On January 19, 2022, they released EP "Something is likely to happen", and held the release party at OSAKA(One-Man) and TOKYO(w/ gato).
On August 3, they released "Whales".
On December 21, they released new song "betbetbet"
